Presentation at SE Raleigh High School for the Region 5 FLL Competition
Overall schedule:
The JrFLL exhibit is not a contest, it's a celebration -- more like a science fair display with a display board and a LEGO model of their chosen snack that has at least one moving part.
7:45 check in teams and set up (note for next year: students really don't need to be there until about 8:30)
9 to 10:30 Interviewers will walk around and ask them questions about their project. Challenge will be to keep these kids (and 13 other teams of 5 to 9 yo's!) busy during the times they're waiting for the interviewers. Hoping to bring legos for our teams to build with -- or cars or crafts or something...
11:00 An awards ceremony where they all get positive, fun certificates.
11:30 to 12:30 is clean up and lunch.
If any of the students want to be in the opening ceremonies parade at 12:30, they're welcome to (with at least 1 adult!).
Awards:
LEGO Thunder Dudes: Super Scoop Sprinkle Award
LEGO Heroes: Big Daddy Super Pop Award
Week 9 (November 14 and November 19)
